Gifmap provides a means of easily putting image collections on the Web. It recurses through directory trees, building HTML pages and imagemap (GIF or JPEG) files to allow the user to navigate through collections of thumbnail images (somewhat similar to 'xv') and select the images to view with a mouse click.

Html 3.2 compliant version of Mosaic Web browser. Features full table support, font colors and sizes, image animations, progressive display, keepalive connexion, selectable cookies support, and now FRAMES support (New in 3.6).

ASHE is an Editor for HTML Documents. It was written using C Language NCSA Mosaic Widget and Motif Library. The Visual Interface is based on NCSA Mosaic. ASHE has two main areas: the text area and the HTML browser area (WYSYWYG). You can edit your HTML document in the text area and display it in the HTML browse area.

This procedure decompresses a file (deleting the original), runs a specified command on it, and then renames the decompressed file to the original name (for subsequent deletion by Netscape). If the file is not in fact compressed, then the command is run on the original (this is important because it can be called for both compressed and uncompressed files). It requires the gzip command to be defined.
